So today was the shortest day of the year, as well as the first official day of winter. I noticed something the other day. Snow sounds beautiful as it falls and lands. Its not like rain, which crashes down to the earth. Snow makes a gentle pitter patter. It was a relaxing sound. I want to hear more of it this winter.
Also... snow is much nicer looking at night than day. In the day, the sky is all grey. And the snow only reflects that. And you can see all of the gross stuff that has gotten into it, like sand and salt. But at night, it reflects the moonlight. It's serene; tranquil.
I like snow. Even if it is cold.
